Deconcern

Deconcern developed a tool to map Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC).

Easy and fast insight
Every day, 100,000 companies in the Netherlands work with substances that are hazardous to human health and the environment. These substances are hazardous because they can, for example, be carcinogenic or accumulate in the food chain, such as tiny pieces of plastic. Currently, companies and governments struggle to gain insight into where and which substances are used, despite European legislation requiring such transparency. Deconcern has developed a software tool that enables easy and quick mapping of these substances, using a machine learning model.

Deconcern is based in Nijmegen.
